 هَدَفت الدراسة إلى: تقديم تصوُّر مقترَح لتطوير دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلَّابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية من وجهة نظرهم، وذلك من خلال بيان التأصيل الإسلاميِّ للتفكير الناقد في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية، والكشف عن واقع دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلَّابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية من وجهة نظر الطلَّاب والطالبات، إضافةً إلى تحديد متطلَّبات تطوير دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلَّابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية من وجهة نظر خبراء التربية.
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوثائقيَّ، والمنهج الوصفيَّ المسحيَّ، باستخدام أداة الدراسة الاستبانة، والتي تم توزيعها على عينة طلَّاب وطالبات كليات التربية بـــــ(جامعة الأميرة نورة وجامعة الملك سعود بالرياض وتمثِّلان المنطقة الوسطى، وجامعة الطائف وتمثِّل المنطقة الغربية، وجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل بالدمام وتمثِّل المنطقة الشرقية، وجامعة الحدود الشمالية بمنطقة عرعر وتمثِّل المنطقة الشمالية، وجامعة الملك خالد وجامعة نجران وتمثِّلان المنطقة الجنوبية)،وبلغ عددها(360)، كما تم استخدام أسلوب مجموعة النقاش البؤرية لتحديد المتطلبات اللازمة لتطوير دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية، من خلال تطبيقها على (10) من خبراء التربية من مختلِف الجامعات وممن لهم اهتمامات بالتفكير الناقد، بالإضافة إلى أسلوب التحكيم العلمي للتصور المقترح وتم تطبيقه على (14)خبيراً. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها:

اشتمل التأصيل الإسلامي للتفكير الناقد في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية على مفهوم وأساليب التفكير الناقد في القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية، ومظاهر التفكير الناقد في الفكر الإسلامي، وضوابطه، وأسسه، وصولاً إلى تصنيف مهارات التفكير الناقد في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية.
موافقة أفراد عينة الدراسة من الطلاب والطالبات بالجامعات السعودية على واقع قيام الجامعات السعودية بدورها في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد بدرجة موافقة متوسطة(محايد)، حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي العام للمحور(2,70من 5)، وقد تمثلت أبرز الأدوار في مجال التدريس: يقوم عضو هيئة التدريس بعرض النصوص الشرعية المتضمنة مهارات التفكير الناقد من خلال مصادر التربية الإسلامية، وفي مجال البحث العلمي: تُركز الجامعة على استثمار الفرص في مجال البحث العلمي لتنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى الطلبة من خلال برامجها الأكاديمية، وفي مجال خدمة المجتمع: تحرص الجامعة على تفعيل التواصل الاجتماعي بين الطلبة ومؤسسات المجتمع لتنمية مهارات التفكير لديهم من خلال المشاركة في الأعمال التطوعية.
اتفاق خبراء التربية على وجود عدد من المتطلَّبات (الإدارية والتنظيمية، والتعليمية الأكاديمية، والتِّقْنيَّة) لتطوير دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلَّابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية.
ثم بناء تصوُّر مقترَح لتطوير دور الجامعات السعودية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلَّابها في ضوء مصادر التربية الإسلامية.

The study aimed to present a proposed concept for developing the role of Saudi universities in enhancing the critical thinking skills of their students in the light of Islamic education resources, from their perspective. This was achieved through presenting the Islamic foundations of critical thinking in the light of Islamic education resources, uncovering the current role of Saudi universities in developing the critical thinking skills of their students from the students' viewpoint, as well as identifying the requirements for developing the role of Saudi universities in enhancing the critical thinking skills of their students in the light of Islamic education resources from the perspective of education experts.
To achieve the study's objectives, the document analysis method and descriptive survey method were used, employing a questionnaire as a study tool. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of students from the Colleges of Education at Princess Nourah University and King Saud University in Riyadh (representing the central region), Taif University (representing the western region), Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam (representing the eastern region), Northern Borders University in Arar (representing the northern region), King Khalid University and Najran University (representing the southern region). The sample size was 360. Additionally, the focal group discussion method was used to identify the necessary requirements for developing the role of Saudi universities in enhancing the critical thinking skills of their students in the light of Islamic education resources. This method was applied to 10 education experts from various universities who have an interest in critical thinking. Furthermore, the scientific arbitration method was used to assess the proposed concept and was applied to 14 experts.
The study reached several findings, including:

The Islamic foundation of critical thinking in the light of Islamic education resources encompassed the concept and methods of critical thinking in the Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah, as well as the manifestations, principles, and foundations of critical thinking in Islamic educational thought, leading to the classification of critical thinking skills in the light of Islamic education resources.
The study sample of Saudi university students agreed with a moderate level of agreement on the current role of Saudi universities in developing critical thinking skills, with a general average of 2.70 out of 5. The prominent roles in the teaching field included faculty members presenting religious texts that contain critical thinking skills through Islamic education resources. In the field of scientific research, universities focused on utilizing opportunities for research to develop critical thinking skills among students through academic programs. In the community service field, universities emphasized fostering social interaction between students and community institutions to enhance their thinking skills through participation in volunteer work.
-Education experts agreed on the existence of various requirements (administrative and organizational, academic and educational, technological) for developing the role of Saudi universities in enhancing the critical thinking skills of their students in the light of Islamic education resources.
-Finally, a proposed concept was developed to enhance the role of Saudi universities in developing the critical thinking skills of their students in the light of Islamic education resources.
