أهـــداف الـــدراســـة:
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على التعليم الجامعي ودوره في تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي وانعكاساته على المجتمع من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ومدى الوعي بمفهوم رأس المال الاجتماعي في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، والكشف عن المعوقات التي تواجه تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس.
واستخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من عينة عشوائية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات التربية في كل من جامعة الملك سعود، وجامعة أم القرى، وجامعة الملك خالد، وجامعة الملك فيصل، وجامعة الحدود الشمالية.
أبرز نتائج الدراسة:

هناك موافقة بين أفراد الدراسة على التعليم الجامعي ودوره في تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي وانعكاساته على المجتمع من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ومن بينها: أن لدى الجامعة رؤية ورسالة وأهداف واضحة ضمن خطط استراتيجية معلنة. وأيضًا تتيح الجامعة المجال لمشاركة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلبة في تحسين وتطوير أدائهم، وكذلك تنمي الجامعة الثقة بينها وبين المجتمع الخارجي من خلال توافر البيانات والمعلومات والإحصاءات.
هناك موافقة بين أفراد الدراسة على مدى الوعي بمفهوم رأس المال الاجتماعي في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ومن بينها الإدراك التام لعضو هيئة التدريس بأهمية دوره في العمل وتأثير التباطؤ في الانجاز، وأيضًا؛ يلتزم أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمبادئ الجامعة وقيمها، مما يحسن من الاستجابة لتوقعات المجتمع لهم، وكذلك يوجد لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس؛ استعداداً للمشاركة بالمعرفة والخبرة والمهارة مع الآخرين.
هناك موافقة بين أفراد الدراسة على المعوقات التي تواجه تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ومن بينها: قلة تطبيق التوصيات والنتائج التي تسفر عنها البحوث التطبيقية، وكذلك تعدد مهام عضو هيئة التدريس بين مهام إدارية وأكاديمية، وأيضًا تعقد الإجراءات، والروتين في إنجاز المعاملات.

أبرز توصيات الدراسة:

الاهتمام بتوجيه البحوث والباحثين لإجراء بحوث موجهة لخدمة المجتمع، وعدم اقتصارها للحصول على الدرجة العلمية.
العمل على الحد من تكليف أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمهام إدارية تعوقهم عن إداء مهامهم المتنوعة.
العمل على تفعيل تطبيق التوصيات والنتائج التي تسفر عنها البحوث التطبيقية في خدمة المجتمع.
الاهتمام بتعزيز ارتباط المناهج الدراسية في الجامعات السعودية بحاجات المجتمع ومشكلاته.
توفير الدورات التدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في مجالات تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي

 
The study aimed to identify the university education and its role in the development of social capital and its repercussions on society from the point of view of the faculty members, and the extent of awareness of the concept of social capital in university education from the point of view of the faculty members, and to reveal the obstacles facing the development of capital Social studies in university education from the point of view of faculty members.
The researchers used the descriptive survey method, and the study sample consisted of a random sample of faculty members in the faculties of education in each of King Saud University, Umm Al-Qura University, King Khalid University, King Faisal University, and Northern Border University.
The most prominent results of the study:

There is agreement among the members of the study on university education and its role in developing social capital and its repercussions on society from the point of view of the faculty members, including: that the university has a clear vision, mission and goals within announced strategic plans. The university also allows the participation of faculty members and students in improving and developing their performance, as well as the university develops confidence between it and the outside community through the availability of data, information and statistics.
There is agreement among the study members on the extent of awareness of the concept of social capital in university education from the point of view of the faculty members, including the full awareness of the faculty member of the importance of his role in work and the effect of slowing down in achievement, and also; Faculty members are committed to the principles and values ​​of the university, which improves the response to society's expectations of them, as well as the faculty members; A willingness to share knowledge, experience, and skill with others.
There is agreement among the study members on the obstacles facing the development of social capital in university education from the point of view of the faculty members, including: the lack of application of recommendations and results resulting from applied research, as well as the multiplicity of the functions of the faculty member between administrative and academic tasks, and also The complexity of procedures, and routine in completing transactions.

The main recommendations of the study:

Attention to directing research and researchers to conduct research directed at serving the community, and not limiting it to obtaining a scientific degree.
Work to limit the assignment of faculty members to administrative tasks that hinder them from performing their various tasks.
Work to activate the application of recommendations and results of applied research in community service.
Interest in strengthening the link of the curricula in Saudi universities with the needs and problems of society.
Providing training courses for faculty members in the areas of social capital development.
